Lasagna Restaurant

The last few weeks have been non-stop raining in New York City. We waited months and months for the snow to finally melt and never come back (fingers crossed). The one day where the sun was out shining and it was acceptable to wear shorts again, I headed to Lasagna Restaurant in Chelsea. Don't be fooled by the name, Lasagna serves great brunch options...that include, but not limited to lasagna. And if you're lucky, you can snag a nice seat outside that faces the corner of 23rd St. and 6th Ave.

Lasagna is on my list for Most Affordable Brunch in Manhattan right now. For just $11 you can make your beverage bottomless! I'm sure you already know my brunch drink of choice. Most places charge you $20 for bottomless drinks and then leave you still spend another almost $20 on your meal.

My meal at Lasagna was pretty average. Well...I won't be ordering the Shrimp and Scallop Frittata again. The scallops were completely bland. Like not a single seasoning was on it. I'm not the best at making scallops either, so I totally get the struggle...but I would never offer to make something for someone that I wasn't confident in.

The menu is full of fun, delicious-looking options like Cinnamon Brioche French Toast, which I'm kicking myself for not getting. I rarely ever get sweet breakfast options. I'm such an egg and home fries girl, but when I return (because I will be back for the bottomless special) I'm definitely going to try the brioche french toast or the crepes.

Do you have a favorite bottomless brunch spot in Manhattan that you're always recommending? If so, let me know in the comments below!
